The Wichita State Shockers still haven’t changed their name and they still can’t haven’t stumbled in March Madness — much to the delight of a fan who dyed his beard a ridiculous color.
Last season, the Wichita State Shockers lived up to their name and shocked the nation by earning a No. 1 seed in March Madness before falling to the Kentucky Wildcats in the Round of 32. This year, they’re back kin the Round of 32 and are ready to take on No. 2 seeded Kansas on Sunday
But the Shockers didn’t come alone, they brought their crazy fans with them and that’s the biggest treat about seeing them back in the tournament. One particular fan embodied the spirit of the Shockers and dyed his beard a ridiculous color to support his team.
It was just any color that this Shockers fan dyed his beard — it was a highlighter yellow that will ever fade or go out of style.
I mean, at least it’s bright?

This is more than just magnificent, it’s fantastic on every level possible. This man looks like Robert Patrick’s weird older brother who has gone senile from watching old X-Files re-runs. This is what happens when Dale Gribble gets too old and crazy and finally fully adopts Rusty Shackleford as his government name.
And thank God the Shockers won, otherwise this man would have no excuse as to why he’s a crazy man with a highlighter colored beard.
