The Miami Hurricanes advanced to the final eight of the NIT on Saturday with their win over Alabama

The Miami Hurricanes weren’t able to make it into the NCAA Tournament this season, however they’re certainly on their way to making a solid run in the NIT. On Saturday, the Hurricanes advanced to the final eight of the field as they were able to take down Alabama, 73-66.

Miami showed signs of brilliance at times this year during their regular season run and now they’re looking to put it all together to eventually collect some hardware for themselves.

This win for Miami came after they had a pretty close call in their first round game against North Carolina Central, but they were much more polished in this outing. Now they will await the winner of Arizona State and Richmond, to see who they’ll play with the right to head to New York on the line.

With that said, here’s a look at the updated NIT bracket heading into Sunday.
