Not only was Nash a terrific player, he’s someone that everybody — coaches, players, fans and media members — all respected greatly.
So, it shouldn’t be too surprising that a number of NBA players praised Nash and wished him well following his announcement.

Nash’s spent 18 years in the NBA and was one of the premier point guards in the league for much of his career.
He’ll certainly retire as one of the best point guards of all-time ; few have ever been able to command an offense like he was able to during the 2000s with the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.
Nash averaged 14.3 points, 8.5 assists and three rebounds per game for his career. He made eight all-star games and was awarded the NBA’s MVP award twice.
