Russell Westbrook swatted away Goran Dragic’s shot with authority.
There might not be an NBA player more fun to watch these days than Russell Westbrook.
The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard is a true athletic freak and plays at an energy level that few in the league can match.
Westbrook showed off that athleticism and high motor on Sunday with a monster block of the Miami Heat’s Goran Dragic.

That is… filthy. Incredibly enough, Westbrook’s block came right after another swat from Heat center Hassan Whiteside.
We’ll give the edge to Westbrook, given his block came from behind and he’s obviously much shorter than Whiteside. But both blocks were undoubtedly great.

Westbrook is having a terrific year for the Thunder, helping them stay afloat despite the team’s many injury issues this season.
Westbrook’s averaging a whopping 27.8 points (42.8 percent shooting from the field, 30.1 percent shooting from beyond the arc), 8.5 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game this season.
The Thunder entered Sunday’s matchup with a 39-30 record, good enough for sole possession of the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference.
