The No. 1 seeded Duke Blue Devils are headed back to the Sweet 16 after knocking out No. 8 seeded San Diego State in the Round of 32 on Sunday.
Freshman stud Jahlil Okafor poured in 26 points as Duke toppled San Diego State 68-49 in the Round of 32 on Sunday.
The No. 1 seed-No. 8 seed matchup was never particularly close. Duke scored the game’s first eight points and never looked back. The Blue Devils ultimately entered the halftime break up 37-24.
The Aztecs were able to cut the deficit to seven points with 12:45 left in the second half, but an 11-0 Duke run that followed ended all chances of an upset. Okafor, Justice Winslow and the rest of the Blue Devils were simply too much for the Aztecs to handle.
Duke will face No. 5 seeded Utah in the Sweet 16 next week in Houston, Texas.
Take a look at the updated 2015 NCAA Tournament bracket below:

The Blue Devils were never really tested in the first two games, but that should change against Utah. Larry Krystkowiak’s squad is 26-8 overall and went 13-5 in Pac-12 play this year.
At the same time, the Blue Devils have to be feeling confident. Their freshman stars are playing great on the big stage, particularly Okafor, whose 47 points in the first two rounds is a record for a Duke freshman.
The Blue Devils will look to advance to their second Eight Eight in three years when they take on Utah.
