Aaron Rodgers wants to go 1-on-1 with Wisconsin’s Sam Dekker
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to challenge Wisconsin’s Sam Dekker to a game of 1-on-1.
We all know how great of an athlete Aaron Rodgers is. He’s arguably the best quarterback in the NFL, won a Super Bowl Championship as well as a Super Bowl MVP. He’s done so because of his vision on the field and his athletic ability of moving around in the pocket and even running the ball when needed.

Rodgers also seems to be a fan of other sports as well. He has been paying very close attention to this year’s NCAA tournament, picking Wisconsin to win the tournament in his bracket.
With how athletic Rodgers is, some people have wondered if he’d be good at other sports. After Wisconsin’s most recent win over Oregon to advance to the Sweet 16, one fan asked Rodger’s on Twitter which Wisconsin player he would want to go 1-on-1 with if given the chance. Rodgers chose Sam Dekker, who is a key component to the Badgers success.
I’m not sure if that’s a good idea Aaron. You’re a big dude at 6’2, 223 pounds. However, Dekker dwarfs Rodgers at 6’9. As it seems, Dekker would have no problem going up against the Packers quarterback.
We’ll see if there is any continuation to the banter.
For now, Sam Dekker will prepare with his team to play the North Carolina Tar Heels in the round of 16 on March 26. North Carolina took our Harvard in the round of 64 and then Arkansas in the round of 32 to get the round of 16. Wisconsin defeated Coastal Carolina in the round of 64 and then Oregon in the round of 32.
Rodgers can concentrate and getting ready for Packers training camp while enjoying the NCAA tournament. Maybe in his free time he can work on his post game and set up that 1-on-1 game between himself and Dekker.
I still don’t like his chances.
