The Los Angeles Lakers proved on Sunday night that they’re as incompetent and hilariously awful as we’ve always assumed they were.

Some people might look at a terrible team’s record and think there’s no way they could be that bad — but then you look at the Lakers and everything changes.
The New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves will be hard to catch up to since they have only 14 wins, but the third spot in the race to tank is still up for grabs between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers who both have 17 wins. Conveniently enough, the Lakers and 76ers duked it out on the court last night in epically bad fashion.
At halftime, the 76ers held a 47-41 lead over the Lakers mainly because Los Angeles was doing more things to embrace the tank than they probably realized.
It would be one thing if it was just a mistake on Jeremy Lin’s part, but it really wasn’t. Normally in situations like this, all the players on the court and some on the bench are yelling and pointing up to the clock — but it looks like all the Lakers were clueless on this play.
No one on the court understands what is going on, and the bench doesn’t either. It’s actually kind of sad to see how bad it has gotten for the Lakers.
