The NFL is considering hosting the Pro Bowl in Brazil for the 2017 NFL season.

The NFL Pro Bowl was an amazing vacation spot for the NFL players when they were able to head out to Hawaii and enjoy the festivities on the beautiful island. It seemed to get a little old for some players though as they would just decline in participating in the event, despite the trip out to the amazing island. Unfortunately, the NFL took the act out of Hawaii and hosted it in the Super Bowl location.

Last season, the event was held in Arizona. That didn’t give some players much motivation to get out to the game. Why would players want to head out to Arizona? It wasn’t a location that motivated the people to get out to the game.

The NFL is considering a new location for the Pro Bowl again though and this time around it might draw the attention of the players. The NFL is considering hosting the Pro Bowl in Brazil.

That would get the attention of some of the players and that would keep them interested in participating in the game. A fresh location from year-to-year in exotic locations could help keep the attendance high from the NFL players. If all the stars participate in the game, then it could keep the fans interested in watching the game. The viewership on the game has dropped and the most recent Pro Bowl had it’s lowest rating since 2007.

The NFL has drawn interest in South America and could look to capitalize in the growing popularity by sending out all the stars there to participate in the exhibition event at the end of the season. This could help rejuvenate the interest in the game from all parties.
