When is the Sweet 16?

As we inch closer to crowning a new national champion in college basketball, when can we all watch the action of the Sweet 16


The first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is one of the most exciting weekends in all of sports with the second and third rounds playing out. This year was no different, but now it’s all over, meaning that it’s time for the Sweet 16.

In the NCAA Tournament, the Sweet 16 is the names given to the Regional quarterfinals. Before a team can get into the Final Four in Indianapolis, they must first win their respective region and that journey starts at the Sweet 16.

So, with that being said, when is the Sweet 16 this year?

Well, this year’s Sweet 16 festivities will take place this Thursday and Friday, March 26 and 27. There will be four games a day as we get closer to crowning that new champ in college hoops.

Here’s a look at the Sweet 16 schedule for this season.
