  • The San Francisco Giants have become one of the more fun teams to watch in the MLB.  However, unlike the years after the first two World Series titles, the Giants will have the spotlight on them this year with a chance to do something that hasn’t been done since the turn of the millennium: four World Series in six years.

Although they return virtually the same team that won it all last year, the question will be if they can continue the momentum that earned them their third ring in the last five years.

It won’t be easy however.  The NL West got more competitive this year with the Padres getting aggressive this winter and the Dodgers still a legit contender.  The Giants could still make the playoffs as the first wild card team this October.  A perfect role for the defending champs.
