After what has been quite the exciting NIT here in 2015, we’re now all set for the semifinals

While it might not be the NCAA Tournament, Wednesday night was a pretty big night in college basketball, as we would be finding out who would be rounding out the semifinals field in New York for the NIT.

To start off the night, we saw one of the better finishes to a game this March, and that includes anything that we have seen in the NCAA Tournament so far. In the first NIT quarterfinal that was played on Wednesday night, Old Dominion, the No. 1 seed, was able to knock off the Racers of Murray State with a buzzer beating three-pointer that had the home crowd going absolutely bonkers. Old Dominion has punched their ticket to New York City.

In the second game of the night, Temple had no problem whatsoever with Louisiana Tech, securing their spot in Madison Square Garden for this Tuesday when the games will be played.

These two teams join Stanford and Miami, and with that said, here’s a look at the NIT bracket with the semifinals now being set to go.
