Frank Kaminsky was nervous to meet Will Ferrell

Wisconsin center, Frank Kaminsky was extremely nervous before he interviewed Will Ferrell in an exclusive Access Hollywood spot.

Frank Kaminsky, best known for his sweet posts moves and smooth jump shot for the Wisconsin Badgers, was recently asked to interview Will Ferrell for a spot on Access Hollywood. Even though on the court Kaminsky has ice in his veins, he was apparently quite nervous before his interview with the movie star and comedic legend.

Kaminsky, shares the same nickname, Frank the Tank, that Ferrell’s character has in the movie Old School. Just one of the many things the two have in common. Kaminsky himself isn’t afraid to make a crowd laugh, just like Ferrell does for a living. Ferrell is tall compared to humans and Kaminsky is abnormally tall for basketball players. It only seemed right that the two would eventually meet up for a casual interview, no matter how nervous Kaminsky was.

The interview went seemed to go as smoothly as it could have as Kaminsky shook off his nervousness. One thing they couldn’t agree on is who Ferrell would be cheering for when the Badgers take on the North Carolina Tar Heels this Thursday in the Sweet Sixteen. Apparently the actor has a lot of family that have connections in North Carolina, so while he doesn’t have any disrespect for Kaminsky, he doesn’t think he can part ways from cheering on his Tarheels.

Kaminsky might have been nervous for his interview with Ferrell but he will have to be anything but against North Carolina if he plans on keeping Wisconsin’s tournament hopes alive. While the no. 1 seeded Wisconsin Badgers are the favorites, its never wise to put it past Roy Williams to prep his team for an upset. Especially with Will Ferrell rooting on the Tarheels, you never know what might happen.
