Minnesota Timberwolves Andrew Wiggins committed a foul with 0.3 seconds left in the clock to allow the Los Angeles Lakers to win the game at the foul line.

There are a few things that you don’t want to do when the clock is running down in regulation and the game is tied. You want to play some tough defense, but you don’t want to commit a foul that will allow the other team to win the game at the free throw line.

Andrew Wiggins committed that foul that you don’t want to commit.

The Los Angeles Lakers were desperately looking to get another shot off with the clock expiring and Wiggins reached in and committed the foul that sent them to the foul line. That is the sad way that the Minnesota Timberwolves lost on Wednesday night.

I am sure that Wiggins will be thinking about that foul throughout the night. That was a really bad foul on a shot that never had a chance of going in. He wasn’t even trying to defend against the shot though. He was just hoping to get to the loose ball and ended up committing the foul instead. Tough break.
