All the game day information you need ullcor the NCAA Tournament game between the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Kentucky Wildcats, including the live stream.
It’s been an interesting tournament for the West Virginia Mountaineers. After being one of the top picks in the nation to be lose in the first round in an upset to the Buffalo Bulls, the Mountaineers seemingly have came together in the past few days. Against the No. 4 Maryland Terrapins, the Mountaineers played excellent on the defensive side of the ball. For the overall No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats, it’s been all business so far in the NCAA Tournament, except for a few times here and there against the Cincinnati Bearcats.

The Mountaineers play the most hectic defense in the nation. With their full-court press, this game could actually favor the Mountaineers in some ways, as the Harrison brothers have a tendency to turn the ball over, and if the Mountaineers force turnovers, it would go a long way in this game. The combination of senior Juwan Staten, one of the nation’s most underrated players, and sophomore Devin Williams will also need to be huge.
For the Wildcats, it’s all about getting the ball to the big men down low and working their offense from there. Whether it’s projected top pick Karl Anthony Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein, or even Dakari Johnson, the Wildcats are beasts down low, and with players like Aaron & Andrew Harrison, Tyler Ulis, Devin Booker, and Trey Lyles, the Wildcats can also light it up from the perimeter.
It seems like Bobby Huggins always finds a way to play Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament. This is another opportunity for the Mountaineers to show that they are legit, however, no one has beaten Kentucky all season and doing so will still be incredibly difficult.
