All the game day information you need for the NCAA Tournament game between the Wichita State Shockers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, including the live stream.

The Sweet 16 kicks off with perhaps the best game in the entire round. The Wichita State Shockers are fresh off a blowout win against the Kansas Jayhawks, a team that they, even though they’re located in the same state, haven’t played since the 1993 season. On the other hand, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are coming off an overtime victory after barely squeaking by the Butler Bulldogs. Both teams are located in Indiana.

Wichita State is an experienced team that has played under pressure before. Perhaps the best mid-major in all of college basketball, the Shockers are quietly one of the hotter teams in the nation, and with players like Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker, who have both already been to the Final Four, the Shockers have the makings to get back to the Final Four and complete their championship run.

Like Wichita State, Notre Dame is loaded with experience. Jerami Grant is one of the best guards in the country, Zach Auguste is an absolute menace on both sides of the ball, and Pat Connaughton is one of the best three-point shooters in the nation. Mike Brey’s team is the best he’s had in his tenure at Notre Dame, and even though they’re running into a hot Wichita State team, the Irish haven’t been this far in the tournament since 2003, so the incentive is there for the Irish to have a special season.
