The Wisconsin Badgers beat the buzzer at the end of the first half in their Sweet 16 game against North Carolina.

There hasn’t been much offense from Wisconsin outside of Sam Dekker’s 15 points in the first half against North Carolina, but the Badgers only trail the Tar Heels by a bucket at halftime after getting a basket at the buzzer.

Dekker chipped in two of his 15 in the first 20 minutes with a tip in to beat the buzzer as the Tar Heels have been able to keep Frank Kaminsky contained with four points on 2-7 shooting and five rebounds in the first half.

Thankfully for Wisconsin, Dekker has been in the zone, making 6-8 shots for a game-high 15 points, including the two to beat the buzzer that you can see in the vine, courtesy of FanSidedGIF.

Outside of Dekker, Nigel Hayes is second on the team in scoring with five points as the Badgers have struggled from the field. Excluding Dekker’s 6-8 from the field, Wisconsin is shooting 5-22. Meanwhile, UNC is shooting an even 50 percent from the field (14-28) to take a two-point lead at the half.

Do you think Wisconsin will be able to shoot better from the field and Kaminsky will get back on track or should the Badgers be on upset alert against the Tar Heels?
