Chandler Parsons dunks all over Tim Duncan (Video)

Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons threw down a nasty dunk over Spurs legend Tim Duncan on Friday night.
Chandler Parsons was sure to bring more athleticism to Rick Carlisle’s Dallas Mavericks. Owner Mark Cuban–known for being heavily involved in personnel decisions–was willing to bring in the underrated and great shooter to help Dirk Nowitzki get back to an NBA Finals before his career ends.
That may not happen. But playing against one of their in-state rivals Friday night, Parsons was able to use the threat of his solid jump shot to get to the rim and use his incredible athleticism.
The underrated forward used the threat of a solid jump shoot with an explosive drive to the basket against the Spurs’ Danny Green–an underrated defender. Parsons–who entered the game averaging 15.6 points per game–then went undeterred to the basket.
Meeting him there on the help defensive rotation was future Hall of Fame big man Tim Duncan. Duncan of course is known as a great defender, though he’s far from a dominant shot blocker.
That fact was unfortunate for him, as Parsons made him look a bit silly, although in fairness Duncan was late on the rotation making a blocked shot a near impossibility. About all Duncan could have realistically done was foul Parsons.
He chose the wiser option to simply let him take the two points by half-heartedly going for the block.
