Fox Sports 1 radio show host Mike Francesa was impressed and baffled by the amount of WWE fans that pay for the WWE Network and the amount that will attend Wrestlemania 31.
It’s easy to say that Mike Francesa doesn’t watch wrestling. He even freely admits so when discussing the popular sports entertainment phenomenon.

Francesa hosts a radio show that is aired on Fox Sports 1.
With Wrestlemania 31 coming up this Sunday, a fan called in to ask Francesa his thoughts on Brock Lesnar.
Francesa didn’t know who Lesnar was let alone much about Wrestlemania.
He proceeded to ask the fan that called in what he does for a living and then asked why the fan would wait an hour on the line to ask him a question that he knew Francesa wouldn’t answer.
Francesa then spoke to his producer, a big WWE fan, who informed Francesa how big Wrestlemania and the WWE is. Francesa chuckled as he slowly began to realize the amount of people that go to the events and the amount of money that WWE makes off their network.
Francesa admits that growing up he used to watch wrestling on Saturday morings, but has long since stopped watching.
So while Francesa may be baffled by the large following the WWE has, wrestling fans across the world are convening on Santa Clara, California, this Sunday for Wrestlemania 31.
Just don’t wait an hour on the line to ask Francesa about wrestling.
