The St. Louis Rams already made a big move at the quarterback position but they’re not done and plan to add another in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Sam Bradford is out and Nick Foles is in, but who could be joining Foles in the quarterback meetings this year for the St. Louis Rams.

The Rams made a bold move at the start of the league year when they traded former No. 1 overall pick Sam Bradford to the Philadelphia Eagles, but head coach Jeff Fisher says the team isn’t done adding quarterbacks to the roster.

Foles is in the last year of his rookie deal and could be a stopgap solution considering Fisher and the Rams have their eyes on the quarterbacks in the draft.

“It’s our intention to draft one,” Fisher said, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “The Nick (Foles) trade has no bearing over what we do in the draft.”

The Rams have a strong defense led by arguably the greatest defensive line in the NFL and a lot of young talent on offense to help whoever is the quarterback and challenge for a playoff spot.

St. Louis owns the No. 10 pick in April’s draft but that may be too low for them to get the top two prospects in Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are smitten with Winston and likely will take him first overall and Mariota could go No. 2 to the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets at No. 6 or Chicago Bears at No. 7.

This year’s quarterback class has a significant drop from the top two prospects, so if the Rams don’t like one at No. 10, they could wait to take one in the middle rounds where Bryce Petty, Brett Hundley and Garrett Grayson could be attractive options.

If they went that route, they would be given the opportunity to sit behind Foles as a rookie which is what they need, but if Foles isn’t the long-term answer at the position, the Rams will be heading into the offseason with an unproven commodity at the game’s most important position.

Maybe the Rams pull off another big trade in the draft and give up a bounty of picks to move up to take Mariota? It would be a reversal of the trade that gave them an arsenal of picks when they moved down from No. 2 in the draft three years ago when the Washington Redskins traded up to get Robert Griffin III.
