Minnesota-Duluth vs. Boston Final Score: Boston advances to Frozen Four

One ticket to the Frozen Four has been punched, as Boston University knocked off Minnesota-Duluth to become the first team this year to arrive in the national semifinals.
When the Frozen Four started, there were two colleges from Boston trying to find their way through the bracket and make it home for the Frozen Four.
Boston College fell to Denver in the first round of their trip to the tournament, but Boston University is heading home to represent inside of the TD Garden next week. Boston knocked off Minnesota-Duluth in the Northeast regional final on Saturday afternoon following a thrilling game that went down to the wire.
After spending most of the game tied 2-2, Boston surged ahead in the final minutes of the game to take the 3-2 lead and punch their ticket home to the Frozen Four.
With Minnesota-Duluth out, here’s an updated look at the Frozen Four bracket:

The loss by the Bulldogs of UMD means that there are no longer any Minnesota teams left in the tournament. Minnesota-Duluth had to make it through the Minnesota Gophers to get to their second round matchup with Boston, and Minnesota State-Mankato was upset by No. 16 seeded RIT in the first round.
Boston is heading home for the Frozen Four, and they’ll await the winner of North Dakota and St. Cloud State on in the National Semifinals next week.
