After the victory, the players poured off the bench one by one to celebrate with goaltender Matt O’Connor.
They jumped on the goaltender and a massive pileup occurred in front of the net as they celebrated their advancement in the tournament.
Forward Cason Hohmann was one of the final players to make it to the net. As he skated toward the net with his arms held high in the air, he lost his footing and legs flew out from underneath him.
He crashed to the ice in celebration in spectacular fashion as he slid into his teammates like a bowling ball.
Getting to the Frozen Four is one of the biggest accomplishments in college hockey and while Hohmann fell, it probably doesn’t matter to him as he now has a chance to make history with his team two wins away from being NCAA Champions.
If they do win, everyone might want to get out of his way as he comes sliding in.
