With the Chicago Bulls having the game against the New York Knicks easily in hand, the bench decided to join in the wave with the fans.
With the season winding down, the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls heading in different directions. The Bulls came away with a dominating 111-80 victory over the Knicks and things needed to be spiced up to keep the crowd interested in what was going on.
At one point toward the end of the game, the Bulls lead got so big that the fans in the United Center began doing the wave.
Having some fun, the Bulls bench decided to join in on the fun too.
As the wave rolled by the bench, Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler, who were done for the night, in unison did the wave alongside the fans.

It’s rare to see the wave in the basketball. Usually, the wave happens in games that are a little slower in pace such as baseball. Still, the fans in Chicago stuck around with their team having a huge lead. They should be allowed to do the wave.
Credit to Noah and Butler for having fun with the fans, but they now need to back things up by actually winning in the postseason.
