Miami Dolphins

  • 2014 Finish: 8-8, 3rd in AFC East
  • Top Positional Need: Wide Receiver

The belief from the Miami Dolphins point of view is that Ryan Tannehill is a franchise guy.

If so, then a nice shiny toy for Tannehill to play with is necessary – and no, I’m not referring to Mrs. Tannehill.

Dolphins Wide Receivers:

  1. Kenny Stills
  2. Rishard Matthews
  3. Jarvis Landry
  4. Michael Preston
  5. Matt Hazel
  6. Tyler McDonald

Mike Wallace is now in Minnesota. It was the right move. Wallace was never a primetime wide-out in this league.

Could he perhaps still have the speed to be a fantastic complimentary piece to an offense? Of course. Although at 28-years old, it’s better to move on and find that young stud Tannehill can grow with.

Acquiring Kenny Stills doesn’t get that job done.

With the addition of Ndamukong Suh, Miami’s defense promises to be nasty upfront, especially considering Cameron Wake is still along the edge.

The 14th overall pick should net them that stud receiver they’re looking for. Perhaps Devante Parker out of Louisville is in the cards.
