Packers’ Aaron Rodgers to appear on Celebrity Jeopardy
By Evan Massey
Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers will appear on Celebrity Jeopardy on May 12th, according to the Packers’ Twitter account.
Aaron Rodgers is most well-known for being the superstar quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. He won the 2014 MVP award, and led his team to the NFC Championship game before unfortunately falling to the Seattle Seahawks. That being said, he isn’t as well-known for being a huge fan of the show, Jeopardy.
There is another show called Celebrity Jeopardy, that obviously features just celebrities playing the game show that everyone knows and loves. It is a fun game and it shows off how smart, or not smart, the celebrities that we look up to really are. According to the Packers’ official Twitter account, Rodgers will grace the show with an appearance on May 12th.
Rodgers will reportedly be on the show alongside of both Kevin O’Leary of the show, Shark Tank, and retired astronaut Mark Kelly. All three guys will be fun to watch, but the sports world will be most interested in Rodgers. It will be interesting to see just how much Rodgers knows off of the football field.

During the 2014 season in which Rodgers won the MVP award, he ended up throwing for 4,381 yards, 38 touchdowns and just five interceptions.
He powered the Packers to the NFC Championship game despite having to play nearly on one leg due to a serious calf injury. It was extremely tough for him to continue playing at the high level that fans are used to seeing him at, but he was able to do it. The Packers were expected to knock off the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game before the play calling got extremely cautious and ended up losing the football game for them.
At 31 years old, Rodgers still has quite a bit of high quality football left in him. He proved himself to be the best quarterback in the NFL last season, although there are still others that believe both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are still above him.
That being said, it will be intriguing to see just how much Rodgers really knows outside of football. He always comes across very smart in his interviews and will likely do just fine on the show. Rodgers is up against very stiff competition, but he should represent the wide world of sports very well.
Make sure not to miss Rodgers’ debut on Celebrity Jeopardy on May 12th.
