The Rockets drafted the Swiss center in the first-round last year, and was one of the more intriguing foreign prospects available.
With Dwight Howard out, Capela is getting some time to show what he can do.
The other night against the Toronto Raptors, Capela scored the first points of his career, all of which came by throwing down some big dunks.
Tonight against the Sacramento Kings, Capela was slamming home dunks yet again.
Moving toward the hoop, Capela leaped and threw down an alley-oop from Harden.
While Capela’s outside scoring game might not be developed yet, the young center is showing he can score the ball inside for the Rockets.
If the Rockets want to win the Western Conference, they’re going to need a dependable healthy post presence.
That means Dwight Howard will need to be on the court. However, it appears that Capela might be blossoming sooner than people expected.
