The Houston Rockets welcomed back Terrance Jones on Wednesday night, as he provided a sequence to remember.

Houston Rockets forward Terrance Jones was able to return to the court on Wednesday night against the Sacramento Kings for the first time since he suffered a partially collapsed lung on March 19. Jones wasted no time getting back up to speed.

In a sequence that may even top the Andrew Wiggins-Rudy Gobert saga earlier this week, Jones blocked Kings forward Carl Landry three times in a span of four seconds. The video evidence, from Bleacher Report:

That sequence led to a double-technical on Jones and Landry, as such sequences typically do. It’s unclear how Landry was able to still talk trash after being thoroughly embarrassed.

While this was just one funny sequence, the Rockets have to be thrilled with how Jones played on Wednesday. Jones finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and seven blocks to compliment James Harden’s 51 points in Houston’s 115-111 win over Sacramento.

It’s a relief to see Jones play so well after the scary lung injury. Jones also missed nearly three months earlier in the season with nerve inflammation in his leg.

The Rockets will need Jones healthy and playing this well to advance out of the brutal Western Conference. Jones makes his living primarily on the defensive end, where Houston will need help after Patrick Beverley’s season-ending wrist injury.
