A high school baseball player has a Hannah Davis inspired catcher’s mask.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue is one of the most popular issues of all magazines. It has been for a long time. I still remember when Tyra Banks graced the cover and getting that magazine in the mail. Kate Upton has ridden the wave as the cover model for a long time and now Hannah Davis is getting the attention from all the world.

Davis is the cover model, but is also known as the legend Derek Jeter’s girlfriend. She is a beautiful woman and is a pop culture icon at the moment.

A high school catcher, Adrian Garcia, decided that he would pay tribute to the model with his catcher’s mask. His catcher’s mask is custom made and has photos of Hannah Davis on both sides of the helmet.

That is impressive! This kid must be getting all the attention from his classmates while sitting in class. “Hey, let’s see that catcher’s helmet bro!”

How would opposing team’s be able to pay attention when they step up to the plate and see that? When I was raging with hormones, I am sure that I would want to get a closer look at the mask while I was standing at the plate. I might have to step out of the box more and more just to get a couple of good looks at the helmet.

Garcia is a huge fan of Davis and is hoping to one day meet her.

“Adrian is such a big fan that he carries a copy of the SI Swimsuit Magazine in his backpack at all times, in case he ever meets [Hannah Davis],” said Mitchell Garcia, Adrian’s father. “We live in the dang Midwest, and he still thinks there’s a chance!”

Is that why he has that magazine in his backpack all the time? It is because he thinks that he is going to meet her at some point? The fact that she is half-naked throughout the magazine has nothing to do with it at all. The fact that there are other beautiful women throughout the magazine has nothing to do with it at all either.

How many more of these masks will we see in high school? I wish that we cold see some of these things in a MLB game. I could see someone getting away with it in hockey.
