1. Chicago Cubs

I came into this exercise looking to put another system ahead of the Chicago Cubs. Regardless of the thinking or angle I took, I simply couldn’t.

The Chicago Cubs possess the top farm entering 2015 by a mile.

Top Prospects:

  1. Kris Bryant, 3B (1)
  2. Addison Russell, SS (3)
  3. Jorge Soler, OF (12)
  4. Kyle Schwarber, C/OF (19)
  5. C.J. Edwards, RHP (38)
  6. Billy McKinney, OF (83)
  7. Albert Almora, OF
  8. Pierce Johnson, RHP
  9. Duane Underwood, RHP
  10. Gleyber Torres, SS

Simply put, Theo Epstein has done it again.

He turned the Boston Red Sox into a model franchise after years of dedication, even slaying that 86-year curse in 2004. Now, with Chicago, he’s simply collected so much talent that it’s an impossibility for this team to fail.

The only way they won’t content for a World Series is if the Billy Goat curse is incredibly real or major injuries strike.

Kris Bryant is already proving he could possibly be an All-Star caliber major leaguer. His stats during spring have just been plain silly.

Add Addison Russell to the equation (who Epstein stole from Billy Beane for Jeff Samardzija), Jorge Soler and Kyle Schwarber, and these young Cubbies are by far the most dangerous collection of young talent in the game.
