Here is version 3.0 of my rookie mock draft. The first versions can be found here and here

1.1  Amari Cooper WR Alabama

Cooper is the safest player in this draft. He has the college production and athletic measurables to warrant being selected as the 1st overall pick in your rookie draft.

1.2 Todd Gurley RB Georgia

Gurley is a generational talent, and like Amari Cooper, he also warrants being drafted at the 1.1 in most rookie drafts. Gurley checks all the boxes. The major question mark is his how he comes back from his ACL injury.

1.3 Kevin White WR West Virginia

Kevin White is a polarizing wide receiver with great metrics and an awesome highlight reel go with it. White should go in in the top 3 in rookie drafts.

1.4 DeVante Parker WR Louisville

Parker is a very talented receiver who is going to be a first round pick in this year’s draft. Parker is more than likely going to be drafted in the 1.3-1.6 range in your rookie drafts, and that hinges on what team he gets drafted by. There’s also a possibility for his stock to increase if he gets drafted by the right team.

1.5 Breshad Perriman WR UCF

Perriman blew up his pro-day with a 4.24 40-time, which gives him a major increase to his stock. Perriman is more than likely going to be drafted in the back half of the first round. There are a lot of great situations for him to be drafted to in the back half the first round; Patriots, Saints, Chargers, and Ravens are some of the better situations that he could possibly go to.  Perriman is oozing with upside, and he’s a perfect player to draft if you want to swing for the fences.

1.6 Melvin Gordon RB Wisconsin

Gordon is going to be drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft and he could possibly be the 1.1 overall pick in a lot of rookie drafts. I can’t be upset at anyone for taking him at the 1.1 in their rookie draft because good running backs are hard to find in dynasty. Drafting him at the 1.1 might be the cheapest way you can acquire him, because once he starts producing in the NFL, his value will double or even triple.

1.7 Jay Ajayi RB Boise St.
Ajayi is a jack of all trades and a master of none. That is the best description I have for him. He’s good at everything but he’s not great at one thing. He is going to be drafted in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft, and he’s has the size to be a 3-down back. Ajayi is a very good receiver and he will valuable in PPR leagues.

1.8 Dorial Green-Beckham WR Oklahoma

Beckham is a very talented wide receiver with a checkered past. Beckham was a 5 start recruit coming out of high school. Beckham flashed his talent often in college, and if it wasn’t for his off the field issues, he could possibly be the 1.1 overall in this draft. Beckham is bursting out the seams with upside, and he is the perfect homerun swing in the middle of the first round in rookie drafts.

1.9 TJ Yeldon RB Alabama

Yeldon isn’t a back that’s on a lot of dynasty owner’s radar, but he’s a 3-down back who does it all. That’s valuable to an NFL team, and there’s a good chance that he gets drafted into a great situation with an opportunity to prove himself early on in his career.

1.10 Jaelen Strong WR Arizona St.

Strong is a big wide receiver who has great straight line speed. There’s a good chance that he could be a first round pick in the NFL Draft. With Strong’s size and speed, he could be a good value pick in the back half of the first round in your rookie draft.

1.11 Tevin Coleman RB Indiana

Coleman is going to be a top-100 pick in this year’s draft, and he’s a very explosive running back. He could possibly be a riser for a lot of dynasty owner’s draft boards if he is drafted to the right team.

1.12 Duke Johnson RB Miami

Johnson is a very talented running back. The major question with Johnson is that can he get enough opportunities to be fantasy relevant? He doesn’t have the size to be a 3-down back, but he could viable in PPR if he was drafted to a team that would use him on passing downs.

2.1 David Johnson RB UNI

He’s one of my favorite running backs in this class. He’s a great receiver and he could be very useful in PPR leagues. Johnson is going to be drafted in the middle rounds of the NFL Draft, and he could be a hidden gem in your rookie draft.

2.2 Jameis Winston QB Florida St.

It’s highly likely that he’s going to be drafted to the Bucs at 1 overall. He is going to be paired up with talented young wide receiver Mike Evans, and tight end Austin Saferian-Jenkins. Winston is NFL ready, and he’s going to have good receiver options to throw to. If you desperately need a QB, then it’s ok to target Winston in the back half of the 1st round.

2.3 David Cobb RB Minnesota

Cobb is a 3-down back who is being much undervalued currently because he suffered a quad injury during the combine, so there isn’t much hard data on him. Cobb is going to be drafted in the middle rounds of the NFL Draft, and he could be a sneaky draft pick in your rookie draft.

2.4 Tre McBride WR William and Mary

McBride is a small school prospect who is more than likely going to be a top-100 pick. He is highly athletic with his combine metrics being very comparable to Sammy Watkins and Amari Cooper. This pick is a swing for the fences, but if he hits, he’s going to stick around due to being highly athletic.

2.5 Sammie Coates WR Auburn

This is a high upside pick. Coates is highly athletic, but he has an issue with dropping balls and concentration lapses. If Coates can put it together in the NFL, he could possibly be a steal in your rookie draft.

2.6 Mike Davis RB South Carolina

Davis was considered one of the top running backs in college football a year ago. Davis’ stock dropped during his ’14 season due to playing through injuries that caused his production to drop. He’s a 3-down back that is very good at catching the ball, and he could be a great draft pick in the 2nd round of your rookie draft.

2.7 Nelson Agholor WR USC

Agholor is one of the best route runners in this draft, and he has great straight line speed to go along with his route running. He could be a valuable asset if he is drafted by the right team.

2.8 Ameer Abdullah RB Nebraska

Abdullah was a very productive running back out of the University of Nebraska. He doesn’t have the size to be a 3-down back, but he could be a good pass catching running back for PPR leagues.

2.9 Devin Funchess WR Michigan

I’m not a big fan of Funchess, but he is worth a swing for the fences in the 2nd round due to his size and ball skills. If he is drafted to the right team that uses him correctly, he could be a valuable player in fantasy.

2.10 Maxx Williams TE Minnesota

Williams is the top tight end in this draft, and is the only one worth drafting this high in the rookie draft. I’m not a big fan of drafting tight ends in rookie drafts because it takes a few years for them to develop, and they could be had a year or two down the road at a cheaper price. The middle of the 2nd round is a good price to pay for the top tight end (Maxx Williams) in your rookie draft.

2.11 Phillip Dorsett WR Miami

Dorsett is a highly athletic slot receiver, and he fits the mold of Brandin Cooks and T.Y. Hilton. He could be a steal if he’s drafted to a team with a good QB.

2.12 Marcus Mariota QB Oregon

Mariota is going to be the 2nd QB drafted in the NFL Draft. Mariota is going to be drafted higher than this in most rookie drafts. In one QB leagues, the QB position is easy to fill, so it’s not worth using much capital to draft a rookie when you can fill your holes easily by trading away later picks for older veterans like Phillip Rivers.
