New footage unveiled in Extended TV Spot for Avengers: Age of Ultron

Marvel has unveiled new footage for their upcoming superhero adventure Avengers: Age of Ultron in their latest Extended TV Spot for the film.

We are now less than a month away from a date that Marvel fans have been waiting a very long time to arrive. It is now just under three weeks away from the release of the highly anticipated superhero adventure Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Last week, we told you about a promotion that Marvel was running through their social media accounts that allowed fans to take a look at four new potential IMAX posters for the upcoming film.

The winning poster would be the one that is handed out to fans at the early IMAX screenings of the film.

Now, we have a look at something far cooler than a poster. Fans can now have a look at new scenes from the film in the latest Extended TV Spot for the film that was released earlier today on IMDb.

In the new Extended TV Spot, which you can see below, we watch as the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes come up against one of the coldest and most calculated villains they have ever seen, the artificial intelligence menace known as Ultron.

Ultron has one plan in mind when it comes to taking down the Avengers. Ultron hopes to get inside of their minds and turn them on one another, thus destroying them from the inside out. Unfortunately, the Avengers are much more of a team than he ever anticipated that they would be.

It may take a little bit of work to refocus their minds and prepare to take on a villain like Ultron and get the job done, but if there is anybody in this whole wide world who can get it done, it is the Avengers.

The task at hand is going to be a little more complicated this time around. You see…it’s not just the normal group that they are going to be dealing with. There are two new wild cards that are going to be thrown into the mix in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

We will be seeing the first feature appearance of Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Quicksilver will be played in Avengers: Age of Ultron by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Scarlet Witch will be portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen.

This is not the first time these two superstars teamed up in a film; just the first time that they have played brother and sister. In the 2014 reboot of the sci-fi classic Godzilla, the two played a happily married couple. That’s not at all awkward, now is it?

In any case, the Avengers are going to have much bigger problems on their hands when the new film kicks into high gear. Ultron will stop at nothing to shape the world in his image and if the Avengers aren’t careful, they will end up as another cog in Ultron’s machine.

Avengers: Age of Ultron blasts into theaters nationwide on May 1, 2015.
