Point Guard. L A Clippers. Chris Paul. PG. player. 77. Chris Paul has been an extremely useful fantasy asset this year and may have actually been a little better than Russell Westbrook in some formats over the whole season. I have always been a huge fan of CP3’s fantasy game, but this year it seems there may be a new sheriff or two looking to beat down his door as the top fantasy PG.

James Harden. SG. player. 169. Well you can make a safe bet that James Harden is not going to be our Fantasy Defensive Player Of The Year. He has however been one of the best fantasy basketball players in all of fantasy this year. Truth be known he was very deserving of being on the first string team here, but since this is my list I get to do it however I want to. There is just something about him that I don’t trust. Maybe it is all that facial hair. Well, regardless, my hat (I don’t wear a hat) is off to you Mr. Harden. You had a superb season sir.. Shooting Guard. Houston Rockets

Small Forward. Oklahoma City Thunder. Kevin Durant. SF. player. 149. Listen I can already hear all your objections so go ahead and type them in below. Here is the bottom line though, Kevin Durant is probably the most talented player and most pure basketball player walking the planet today. How can you possibly take him off of this team regardless of his injury troubles this year. I remain convinced that this is not going to be a normal thing for KD35 and that he will return even stronger next year.

PF. player. 24. Pau Gasol has literally carried the Bulls all season and for fantasy owners savvy enough to draft him he has carried them as well. I simply could not leave him off of this list especially after I drafted him in the ninth round of a fairly competitive standard league this year. Gasol has killed all his doubters that wondered if he was washed up and if he could excel on a Bulls team with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah.. Power Forward. Chicago Bulls. Pau Gasol

player. 38. Not many people outside of Orlando and fantasy basketball circles may know who Nikola Vucevic is, but for those of us who do we know he is one heck of a basketball player. Vucevic battled some injuries this season, but he was a real unsung hero for many fantasy owners this year.. Center. Orlando Magic. Nikola Vucevic. C

The award for Fantasy Defensive Player of the Year goes to: Tim Duncan

I have decided to give this award for Fantasy Defensive Player of the Year to Tim Duncan. He is in my humble opinion one of the, if not the greatest PF to ever play the game and still brings it night after night. Duncan managed to average blocking two shots a night with almost one steal a game while providing a plethora of other stats to boot. For a 38-year-old man, that is a pretty incredible accomplishment. So congrats to Timmy Duncan my 2015 Fantasy Defensive Player of the Year.
