Boston College is using a unique recruitment pitch to try and get some top recruits to join their team using a Drake album cover as inspiration.

Recruiting is one of the most difficult things to do in the realm of college sports. Appealing to the youthful high school athletes is something that most colleges struggle with. So Boston College decided to go with a trendy approach to their recruitment strategy involving Drake’s latest album cover.

It turned out to be pure genius.

After Drake released his surprise album in February, the internet exploded with memes mocking the cover art with anything from Chipolte jokes to shaming people who park poorly. So Boston College used this viral internet sensation to attempt to recruit some of their top prospects.

If the kid decides not to go to Boston College, he should respond with a Drake inspired message as well. Something along the lines of: “If you’re reading this it’s too late. I already committed elsewhere.”

But in all seriousness, Seth Dawkins, the guy who received the recruitment letter, is probably going to go to Boston College. According to Yahoo Sports, Boston College is on the top of his list for potential schools to attend. Plus, they clearly have a sense of humor. How could you not want to go to Boston College after getting this hilarious letter?

So Seth, if you’re reading this it’s not too late. Make the commitment to Boston College and give them some props for their awesome recruiting techniques. I only hope they are as successful on the field as they are in their recruiting process.
