Seriously, does seeing Chris Paul set up DeAndre Jordan for a monster alley-oop ever get old?

Watch out, because the Los Angeles Clippers are surging at the right time.

More from Los Angeles Clippers

They defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 94-86 last night to win their fifth straight game and are now 12-1 in their last 13 games.

The Clippers are floating under the radar for most of the season, but their recent winning streak has moved them all the way up to the 3-seed in the Western conference playoffs. They only have two games left against the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets, and the Clippers should be able to easily win those games. Winning out is exactly what the Clippers need to do since they have the same record as the Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs. There are only a couple of games left for each team this regular season, and those final games are going to hold a lot of weight for many teams.

On the way to last night’s victory, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan hooked up for a play that they do very frequently – and it’s always entertaining.

Paul is always going to throw it up to the big man if Jordan gets just a little room after setting the pick. It’s up to Jordan to decide how entertaining the play turns out, though. He usually always gives us something good.

Jordan finished the game with 16 points (86 percent shooting), 16 rebounds, three steals and two blocks.

Paul finished the game with 15 points (46 percent shooting), 14 assists and five rebounds.
