Milwaukee Bucks unveil new logo
By Ian Levy
After finishing last season with the worst record in the league, and the worst in franchise history, the Milwaukee Bucks have made a remarkable turnaround. Under new ownership and a new head coach, and with the emergence of Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks have clinched a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Recently, the franchise has been pushing a new slogan that reflects their youth and positive outlook: Own The Future. Tonight, they continued their transformation with the unveiling of a new logo. Ditching the purple and red from previous looks, the Bucks are moving forward with green, cream, and a light blue as their new colors. They’ve also redesigned their deer logo, sneaking an “M” in as the deer’s neck.
The new deer is a pretty cool look, the eyes purveying a subtle fierceness that fits both Milwaukee and this current Bucks team. The new combination of colors should also provide inspiration for some pretty sweet new jerseys. It should be a lot of fun to see the new looks next year as Jabari and Giannis lead the Bucks in their attempt to Own The Future. But for now, the Bucks have a playoff series to win.
