Cardinals fan has a huge mural of Busch Stadium on his chest
By Kris Whelan
One Cardinals fan couldn’t contain his joy following his team’s home opener on Monday
This St. Louis Cardinals fan seemed to be enjoying the nice weather more than the rest of the stadium as he sat shirtless, daunting a massive mural of the Busch Stadium across his chest. The detail in the picture was actually pretty impressive, even though the large canvas it was painted on was a tad off-putting.
I have to give this guy credit, he’s taken some abuse on social media because of his weight. Personally I think it’s a hilarious idea and was executed to perfection. Seeing a mural sprawled across a rocky six pack would be more upsetting, this flat and jiggly canvas was more appropriate for the sport of baseball. I mean, why settle for a six pack when you can have a keg?
America!
Could you have a better metaphor for America in one photo? I don’t think so, barring an eagle of course. This perfectly represents so many things that makes America great. Just an average guy, enjoying a game and a good ol’ fashion Bud Light while displaying some beautiful body art.
I salute you and your confidence sir, we could do with more characters like you at all our baseball games.
