Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid showed off his dunking prowess during shoot around for the team’s final game of the season.
For a guy that will ultimately go his entire rookie season without seeing any game action, Joel Embiid appears to be in good shape.
The Philadelphia 76ers center participated in warmups on Wednesday night and threw down an awesome off-the-backboard dunk.
Take a look for yourself:
Embiid also showed off some of his impressive post moves during the session prior to the team’s season finale.
It’s hard not to be excited about Embiid’s future, even understanding his injury history.
The guy is a special talent and has a real shot at becoming a great player if he can stay healthy. He has the size, athleticism and basketball skills to ultimately lead the 76ers out of the rebuilding stage they are currently in.
The 76ers drafted Embiid with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Kansas. He averaged 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.6 blocks per game during his lone season with the Jayhawks.
