Jacksonville Jaguars mascot is pretty good at golf (Video)

The Jacksonville Jaguars mascot hit an incredible shot on camera at the TPC Sawgrass golf course.

Apparently the Jacksonville Jaguars mascot has a hidden talent. Known as “Jaxon de Ville,” the giant cat can swing a golf club pretty well. So well, in fact, that he won a closest to the hole competition at the TPC Sawgrass, the course where The Players Championship is held.

A pretty impressive shot if you ask me. When you think how restrictive that costume is, this guy could be a professional golfer in disguise, especially when this shot happens to be on one of the hardest courses in the world.

Curtis Dvorak is the guy behind the suit, and he says that the suit’s not even that big a deal anymore to him. He is typically a scratch golfer, but this shot, as reported by pga.com, is one that even professional golfers can’t consistently par.

The man can straight ball. His swing looks almost flawless, even with all that extra material in the mascot suit. If I was Jordan Spaith, I would be pretty jealous. Even though he just won the Masters, he’s getting shown up already at The Players Championship by a mascot on one of the worst teams in professional football.

The Players Championship will begin on May 10, and is sure to be an excellent event filled with plenty of good golf. There is still no word as to whether or not the Jacksonville Mascot will be competing in 3 weeks. But if he is, keep an eye on that man and his amazing swing.
