Stephen Curry’s 2014-15 highlights in MVP mix (video)
By Andrew Ross
Stephen Curry is probably going to be this season’s regular season MVP, and here are some of his amazing highlights from the year.
The regular season for the NBA just ended, but we shouldn’t forget it quite yet – especially what Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors did.

It was hard to know what to expect from the Warriors coming into the season. They fired Mark Jackson after only three years, and it didn’t make much sense at the time. Jackson is a players’ coach, and most of his players sure did love him. Curry was one of the players that really didn’t want to see Jackson go, and it’s never a good idea to make your star player unhappy.
Expectations were foggy when the front office brought in Steve Kerr since he had never coached before, but it looks like they made the right choice. It’s hard to improve a team that won over 50 games the previous season, but Golden State did that this year by going 67-15.
Of course it was all a team effort, but Curry is the captain of that ship and will get the most credit. The MVP race was thistight all year, but as the season has ended, it feels like Curry will eventually be named the regular season MVP. In 80 games this year, Curry averaged 23.8 points (49 percent shooting), 7.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds. His numbers were a bit better in the previous season, but he played nearly four less minutes per game this year and shot the ball much more efficiently. Curry didn’t have the insane numbers that Russell Westbrook had, but the difference is that the former put up great numbers on the league’s best team – and that has to mean something.
The video is only four minutes long, but it really captures the amazing season Curry had. Social media would blow up every time Curry played, and he was a walking highlight machine this year. After watching the video and looking back on the season, it’s hard to think of anyone that plays with more flair than Curry. The way he dribbles, shoots, passes and shows emotion – it’s all just so mesmerizing.
Hopefully Curry and his Warriors can continue their success during the postseason. Their playoff run starts tomorrow afternoon when the New Orleans Pelicans come to town for game one of their series.
