NHL Draft Lottery 2015: Final Odds

The NHL Playoffs are underway, but the fort 14 teams who didn’t make the postseason, the NHL Draft Lottery is the start of the process to make sure the Stanley Cup doesn’t remain at an arm’s length.
Tonight is the NHL Draft Lottery and it’s the first chance for many teams to start rebuilding to ensure they don’t miss the postseason and continue to miss out on racing for the Stanely Cup. Teams like the Tampa Bay Lightning, Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild are all in the postseason right now and all have built winners through the draft.
That’s what teams like the Devils, Coyotes, Oilers and Sabres are trying to do tonight as the NHL Draft Lottery will set the order for this year’s draft. We’ve seen with prospects like Matt Dumba in Minnesota or Nathan MacKinnon in Colorado that building through the draft is not only important but can have an immediate impact on your team.
