Itās been four years since the Cleveland Cavaliers were in the postseason, and their hype video isĀ the mostĀ ridiculous thing ever.Ā
The Cleveland Cavaliers are back in the postseason for the first time in four years, and you can tell their video crew hasnāt had to work this late intoĀ the year in recent memory. Itās not that anyone is mailing anything in at this point in the season, but itās very clear that these people are not used to working in April and it shows in their work.
Proof is seen in the Cleveland Cavaliers playoff hype video, which starts well but ends with bad green screen and lost of yelling.
Hereās the full hype video, which starts out great, which ends in hilariously bad ways:
Basically it starts outĀ Braveheart and ends by being Lethal Weapon 4.Ā
The whole video is worth watching, but there are about eight crucial seconds that you need to put on a loop so that your Sunday postseason viewing is truly complete.
Letās break this all down, for the full effect of itās awesomeness.
First thereās Kevin Love, who has never been in the postseason and itās clear he doesnāt know what to do. Also, we donāt want to stoke any coals but it sounds like he talksĀ louder than LeBron James. Is he trying to take over his leadership role in this video?

Speaking of LeBron James, he couldnāt have seemed like he didnāt want to be there anymore than he did. The man wasnāt brought back to Cleveland to make crappyĀ high school-level quality hype videos. The man came to win.

Letās not skate over Iman Shumpertās hair either. We never thought that it could be a bad look for the man, but then he stepped infant of whatever this excuse for a green screen is.

And finally, J.R. Smithās role in this video is a lot like his role in life. Heās just there to make a lot of noise and look cool doing it. Except, he might have been a little too loud for the mic that was on duty that day and he looked anything but cool.

Letās hope that the Cavaliers play harder in the postseasonĀ then their video production unit.
