NBA Playoffs 2015, Rockets vs Mavericks full video highlights
By Josh Hill
The NBA playoffs turned in some big games on it’s first day, and the Rockets vs Mavericks contest was one of the most thrilling of all.
The NBA Playoffs wrapped up their last game from the first day of action and things were intense the whole way though. That intensity wasn’t always tied to close games though, as sometimes sheer domination dictated the flow of a game. That was the case with the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks and James Harden and company drove the Mavs into the ground.
Harden thinks he’s the MVP and he played that way in Game 1. Dwight Howard came out with four blocks in the first five minutes of the game and set the tone at an early stage.

The Rockets dominated the game out of the gate and the Mavericks were only marginally effective from there on out. It’s a great way for Houston to start the series and it’s hardly surprising given their seeding. The only question is, can the Mavericks come back from this brutal beatdown and win a game before sending things back to Dallas for Game 3 next week?
That’s easier said than done, as the film speaks for itself. The Rockets are beatable, but they might not be stoppable after the way they played in Game 1 against the Mavericks.
Here’s a look at the plays you’ll need to know about so you sound like a true NBA guru tomorrow:
