By Josh Hill
The NFL schedule was released on Tuesday night, and fans now know when games will be played but don’t yet know how to get tickets.
The NFL has officially released the 2015 schedule, and now that fans know when the games are going to be played, the next quest is to get tickets to games.
We knew who teams were going to play after the end of the regular season, we just didn’t know when. With the NFL schedule release solving that problem for fans, the next question is how to get tickets to games that your favorite team plays this year.
Generally, NFL tickets won’t go on sale until much later into the summer, but there might be ways to get your tickets earlier than the usual May or June release dates. Season ticket holders will get their ticket packets much sooner than fans who are seeking single games tickets, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to buy single game tickets ahead of time.
Not every season ticket holder can attend every game. Typically, a handful of tickets will go on sale well ahead of the their release to the general public thanks to these season ticket holders posting up their tickets on sites like StubHub or NFL Ticket Exchange.

You may end up paying a premium for these tickets though, as season ticket holders aren’t looking to just give their tickets away. There will likely be a markup so that whoever is selling the tickets can make a profit, but depending on who you root for and which game you’re trying to attend, you much be able to shop around for a deal.
There are also ticket packages you may be ale to buy from your favorite team, as some franchises offer tickets to games in groups that also sometimes feature deals on merchandise or food at the game. Again, this is up to the individual team, so you’ll have to double check before pursuing this kind of deal.
Tickets are slated to go on sale to the general public sometime this summer, but you’ll have to check in with your local team site for exact dates. There is no blanket date for NFL ticket sales, as each team will put single game tickets on sale at different dates.
