67.
Another team that has been linked to Rajon Rondo in trade discussions and rumors is the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings have a franchise center in DeMarcus Cousins and looked like they were going to take a next step this season until Cousins got hurt to start the year and they fired multiple coaches.

If the team wants to keep Cousins long term and give the fans a franchise player for many years, they need to start adding players around him that will help produce win.

In Sacramento, Rondo would be looked on as a godsend and not as a possible malcontent.

He would be the floor general and be able to run the floor as he sees fit. Him and Cousins have the Kentucky connection despite playing at different times with the program.

The Kings also have some shooters in Nik Stauskas and Ben McLemore that Rondo could dish off to for open looks.

The Kings will also have another shot at a talented player in this year’s draft class. Now all of a sudden the Kings look like a team that could finally be on the rise.

Would Rondo be willing to sign with Sacramento? The Kings aren’t exactly viewed as a free agent destination, but they could certainly offer him the money that he wants.

However, the Western Conference is loaded and making the playoffs is no guarantee. Does Cousins, Rondo, Stauskas, McLemore, and a 2015 draft pick turn the needle?

Probably, but not enough for a playoff spot in the west. Still, it’d be a good start for the Kings moving forward.
. Pacific Division. Western Conference. Sacramento Kings. 4. player
