MLB Power Rankings: Tigers cling to top spot as Dodgers make their move
Now that we have a full two weeks of play in the books, things are really starting to take shape across Major League Baseball. Yet, not all is right in the world. While we have perennial power houses sitting atop the AL Central (Tigers and Royals) NL West (Dodgers), and NL Central (Cardinals), we also have some surprises making waves. Who could have called the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves(NL East) and Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros (NL Central) making early season runs.

On the flip side, there have been disappointments too. The Miami Marlins were supposed to be a contender in 2015 but have managed just 3 wins in 17 contests. The defending champion San Francisco Giants and the heavily positioned Pittsburgh Pirates have also struggled out of the gates. Sooner or later, most of these teams are going to right the ship and figure into the bigger picture.
With a lot of baseball to be played, a lot can happen in the next several months. However, for the time being, let’s reward those that have done well already and punish those that have underachieved!
