With the 2015 NFL Draft just one week away now, ESPN’s Draft experts, Todd McShay and Mel Kiper held their NFL Mock Draft live on television.
After we learned what these experts project the top 10 to look like, it was time to move on with the first round.
With the No. 11 pick in the NFL Draft, we get the Minnesota Vikings, who they see taking Trae Waynes out of Michigan State to give them some help in the secondary in the NFC North. As we saw last year, they could use the help back there.
With the No. 12 pick, it was the turn of the Cleveland Browns, who Mel Kiper sees bringing in defensive tackle Danny Shelton out of Washington to help get pressure on the quarterbacks in the AFC North.
At No. 13 in the ESPN NFL Mock Draft, we get the New Orleans Saints who are looking to rebound from last year, and to help with that process, McShay has them taking defensive end Randy Gregory out of Nebraska, who has some concerns after a failed drug test at the Combine.
No. 14 gives us the Miami Dolphins, and Mr. Kiper sees Ryan Tannehill getting some help in the form of wide receiver Breshad Perriman out of UCF.
At No. 15, the San Francisco 49ers take defensive end Arik Armstead out of Oregon to help them get back to their dominance under the new coaching regime.
With the No. 16 pick, the Houston Texans turn to the wide receiver position, according to Kiper, with the selection of Miami’s Philip Dorsett.
No. 17 sees the San Diego Chargers taking defensive tackle La’el Collins out of LSU,
As for the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 18, they’re trying to beef up the wide receiver position with Arizona State’s Jaelen Strong.
With the No. 20 pick, the Philadelphia Eagles are addressing their need at corner with the selection of Marcus Peters out of Washington.
