If there is one thing about these NBA Playoffs so far that has been a joy to watch, it’s been the continuing evolution of Anthony Davis into one of the best players in the game. While he and the Pelicans may not come out of this series with the win in the end, Davis is definitely putting everyone on notice that he will own this league some day.

Well on Thursday night in Game 6, Davis has been making some statements early, and none resonated more than this first quarter dunk.

Watch as the big man comes out of nowhere to finish with the monster throw down.

It’s truly been amazing to watch this young man grow into a great player, not just in this series, but this entire season as a whole. There’s no doubt that Davis will soon be regarded as one of the best players in the NBA, if some people don’t do that already.

Again, the Pelicans may not win…but everyone is finding out who Anthony Davis is.
