As a member of the NFL, talking trash about other players in almost expected. However, kicker Jay Feely took a stab at Tim Tebow and he’s got no room to talk.

More from NFL

Jay Feely has been in the NFL for quite some time. In fact, the 38-year-old kicker has bounced around from team to team during his career, the last suitor being the Chicago Bears for about a month of play to fill in for an injured Robbie Gould.

Feely apparently isn’t shy about talking trash, thought, even if it is about guys who get more love than he does.

During a recent interview with Jim Rome for his show, Feely called Tim Tebow “the single-worst quarterback I’ve ever seen.”

That’s pretty low praise from a guy who spends all of his time on the sidelines watching the skill players play while kicking a ball into a net. Feely had this to say about his comments regarding the terrible Tebow:

"“He’s such a dichotomy for me. Because I really respect the person, the man, the things that he believes in and the things he does off the field. He was the single-worst quarterback I ever saw in my career in the NFL.”"

While he has a good point that Tebow is a great guy and it’s hard to dislike his game because he never has anything bad to say about anyone else, he also has a point that Tebow doesn’t have the greatest throwing arm.
