5. The Cowboys play in a tough division

The NFC East may not be considered one of the best divisions in the past few years, but the Cowboys won’t run through it like they did last season. Last year, the Boys were 4-2 in division play, but so were the Philadelphia Eagles who seemed to be nipping at their heels all season long.

Chip Kelly’s Eagles are one of the better teams in the NFC despite not making the playoffs last year as a 10-win squad. Add DeMarco Murray to the Eagles and you might have an even scarier team despite the loss of LeSean McCoy.

Despite being a 6-10 team a year ago, the Giants are no slouch, either. Eli Manning has to be hungry for another Super Bowl and the Cowboys are standing in his way of that. He’s a proven winner and now he has one of the best young players in the league, Odell Beckham Jr., to throw the ball to.

Then you have the Washington Redskins. Sure, they haven’t been very good in recent years, but Robert Griffin III is looking to prove doubters wrong and you never know when he could go back to having the same success he had his rookie season.
