Everyone loves a good playoff series and that’s exactly what the Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning are providing for NHL fans in round one.

The two teams have been going back and forth in the series and it’s starting to look like the Red Wings may close it out at home in Game 6 after a huge Game 5 road win, 4-0 was the final score.

While many people were predicting the Lightning would come out on top of the series as the higher seed, the Red Wings are giving Tampa Bay everything they have.

This Detroit team isn’t the same one from the late-1990s or early-2000s that won title after title with guys like Steve Yzerman, Darren McCarty and Brendan Shanahan, but the current Red Wings are showing some major fight with guys like Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg.

Drew Miller is a veteran player who is helping the Wings fight back in this series, scoring a big goal in Game 5 to put Detroit up 2-0 in the second period as it never looked back.

One Tampa Bay fan was less than enthused with the insurance goal, looking like her world had just been taken from her.

The reaction was pretty awesome, but maybe it was the guy to her right that had an even better reaction, holding his head in his hands.

The Lightning knew goals would be at a premium in this one and that second goal was a heart-breaker.
