The NFL Draft is just a few days away, and I’m dropping another rookie mock draft. This time I expanded it to 4 rounds, which paints a picture of what prospects will more than likely be available in your rookie drafts in the later rounds.
I have the links listed below if you haven’t had the chance to view my previous rookie mock drafts.
1.1. Amari Cooper Alabama WR
I’m sticking to my guns with Cooper, and he’s going to be #1 on my board. He’s a very safe prospect. The odds of him becoming a bust are very unlikely. Cooper has the upside of Antonio Brown and his floor is Golden Tate. Cooper is an NFL ready prospect.
1.2. Todd Gurley Georgia RB
I love Gurley. He’s a generational talent that only comes around once every 5 years. The ACL and previous injuries are a concern. Besides the injuries, Gurley is a bullet proof prospect who is going to be an impact player at the NFL level. I want Gurley on all of my dynasty teams.
1.3. Kevin White West Virginia WR
White is a big, explosive receiver. He has the upside of Julio Jones, but he has the downside of an Aaron Dobson. He’s very talented and has the ability to take over games.
1.4. DeVante Parker Louisville WR
Parker is a very talented wide receiver who should be drafted in the first round of all rookie drafts. I have him as my 4th player off the board. He has very good hands and very good short area quickness. He’s going to be drafted in the top half of the first round of the NFL Draft.
1.5. Melvin Gordon Wisconsin RB
Gordon is going to be drafted in the first round, and it’s highly likely that he’s going to be drafted to a favorable situation. Gordon rushed for 2,587 yards and 29 TDs last season where he lead the nation in rushing yards.
1.6. Dorial Green-Beckham Oklahoma WR
DGB is a top 10 talent who is going to fall in the draft due to his off the field issues. If Beckham goes to the right situation he could be a top-5 wide receiver in fantasy.
1.7. Breshad Perriman UCF WR
Perriman has the size, and he also has blazing speed. The odds are very likely that Perriman is going to be drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft. Perriman carries a lot of risk, but he has the top-5 wide receiver upside.
1.8. Tevin Coleman Indiana RB
Coleman blew away his pro-day with a 4.39 40-time. Coleman is a very talented running back that is being over looked by a lot of analysts. He is a one-cut down hill runner that will gain a lot of yards quickly. He will produce for your dynasty team during his rookie season if he gets the opportunity.
1.9. Jaelen Strong Arizona St. WR
Strong is a big fast receiver who is going to be drafted within the first 2 rounds of the NFL Draft. Strong is going to be a valuable asset with his size and speed for an NFL team, and he could be a valuable asset for your dynasty team.
1.10. TJ Yeldon Alabama RB
Yeldon is a 3-down back who is a very good blocker and can catch out of the backfield. Yeldon broke out in college at 19 years old, and would have produced more last year if it wasn’t for injuries and talented running back Derrick Henry taking a lot of the touches.
1.11. Jay Ajayi Boise St. RB
Ajayi is a 3-down back who is a very effective receiver out of the backfield. His value is very malleable because his worth is going to be very dependent to what team he is drafted to and what team other running backs are drafted too. He could go anywhere from the back half of the first round to 1.4.
1.12. Nelson Agholor USC WR
He’s one of the best route runners in this class, and if he’s drafted to the right team could be a steal in your rookie draft.

2.1 Jameis Winston Florida St. QB
Winston is a very safe pick in the top of the 2nd round of rookie drafts. More than likely he’s going to be drafted by Tampa Bay, and he’s going to be a starter from day one. Tampa Bay has a lot of talent at wide receiver and running back, which is a huge for a rookie QB. If you are in desperate need of a QB, then selecting Winston at the top of the 2nd round is going to be a good move for you.
2.2 Duke Johnson Miami RB
Johnson is a very explosive running back who is comparable to Giovani Bernard. He is very good at catching the ball out of the back field and eating up yards in the open field. The question with Johnson is how much of a workload can he handle in the NFL.
2.3 Phillip Dorsett Miami WR
Dorsett is comparable to Brandin Cooks and DeSean Jackson. He is a very fast receiver who is also very quick getting in and out of his breaks. He has limited college production, and he’s also a smaller receiver. Dorsett would be best utilized if an NFL team drafted him to play opposite of a stud receiver like Julio Jones or AJ Green.
2.4 David Johnson NIU RB
Johnson is a great receiving back, but can he translate his game from playing at a small school to the NFL?
2.5 Maxx Williams Minnesota TE
He’s the undisputed best tight end in this draft. He will be worth the draft pick if you can be patient enough to wait on his game to develop.
2.6 Sammie Coates Auburn WR
He’s a highly athletic wide receiver who will be drafted in the top-100 of the NFL Draft. If Coates can develop his game, he could be a valuable asset to you dynasty team.
2.7 Devin Funchess Michigan WR
Funchess is a big target who can move very well for his size. He has a limited route running ability, but he could be a value if he’s drafted in the right spot.
2.8 Ameer Abdullah Nebraska RB
Abdullah had a very productive college career, but can he earn a full time role in the NFL?
2.9 Tre McBride William & Mary WR
He’s a highly athletic wide receiver from the small college of William and Mary. If he can catch up to the speed of the NFL, he could be a sleeper in this year’s draft.
2.10 Chris Conley Georgia WR
Conley blew up the combine, and showed the nation that he has elite athletic ability. Around the latter portion of the 2nd round is where it’s safer to take on risky high upside prospects like Conley.
2.11 Marcus Mariota Oregon QB
Mariota operated under the gimmicky Oregon offense during college. The question is can he transfer the skills that he used in that offense over to the NFL?
2.12 Mike Davis South Carolina RB
Davis has the size to be a 3-down back, and he is also a very good receiver out of the backfield, which will make him valuable in PPR leagues.

3.1 David Cobb Minnesota RB
Cobb is a 3-down back who is being overlooked currently by a lot of dynasty owners. Cobb lacks speed and can be a little bit of a plodder, but he has the skill set to be valuable to an NFL team.
3.2 Jeremy Langford Michigan St. RB
Langford was the fastest back at the combine. He also was very productive in college. He’s going to be drafted in the middle-late rounds of the NFL draft. He could be a sneaky pick up in the latter portion of your rookie drafts.
3.3 Devin Smith Ohio St. WR
Smith is a dangerous deep threat, and he could rise dynasty owner’s draft boards if he’s paired with a QB who has a strong arm.
3.4 Clive Walford Miami TE
An athletic tight end that has plenty of upside if you can wait for him to develop.
3.5 Ty Montgomery Stanford WR
He’s a fast wide receiver who is going to make it to an NFL roster initially as a kick returner.
3.6 Stefon Diggs Maryland WR
Odds are very slim that he will be a major asset to your fantasy team, but he’s worth a flier at this stage of the rookie draft.
3.7 Darren Waller Georgia Tech WR
Waller is a big swing for the fences. He’s highly athletic, but doesn’t have the college resume matching it.
3.8 DeAndre Smelter Georgia Tech WR
Smelter can be a dark horse in your rookie drafts. The big question with him is can he recover from his ACL injury?
3.9 Cameron Artis-Payne Auburn RB
Artis-Payne is a smaller running back but he’s very explosive, and he could be used in the passing game at the NFL level. He could be valuable in PPR league if he gets an opportunity.
3.10 Tyler Lockett Kansas St. WR
Lockett is an explosive slot receiver who is good at generating separation. Lockett is a long shot to be fantasy relevant, but he’s perfect value at the end of the 3rd round of rookie drafts.
3.11 Javorius “Buck” Allen USC RB
Buck Allen is a big 3-down back who is one cut downhill runner who is very good at catching the ball out of the backfield. His skill set is limited, but he’s a good blocker and has the size to be an every down back.
3.12 Matt Jones Florida RB
Jones is another big running back who could find work as a goal line back and he has the upside of becoming a 3-down back in the NFL. Jones could be a nice pick up at the end of your rookie draft.
Next: Will there be any diamonds in the rough that fall to round 4?

4.1 Devante Davis UNLV WR
Davis is a big receiver who has excellent ball skills. Davis is going to be a late round pick and possibly an undrafted free agent when it comes to the NFL. The big question with Davis is will he have the opportunity to prove himself?
4.2 Justin Hardy East Carolina WR
Hardy is a very good route runner, and will compete for a spot as a slot receiver on a depth chart for an NFL team.
4.3 Michael Dyer Louisville RB
Dyer had a very productive college career. Dyer could be valuable hand-cuff to a lead back in the NFL.
4.4 Josh Robinson Mississippi St. RB
Robinson is built like a bowling ball, and he’s a very hard runner. He projects as a goal line back, and could be a valuable hand cuff to a lead back.
4.5 Zach Zenner South Dakota St. RB
Zenner is a small school prospect. Zenner is an upside flier that you take in the later rounds of your rookie draft.
4.6 Rashad Greene Florida St. WR
Greene was a productive player at Florida State, and there’s a chance that he could manifest on an NFL depth chart somewhere.
4.7 Jesse James Penn State TE
He has the prototypical size of a tight end, and he’s a very good blocker. There’s a possibility he could be a starter in a couple years.
4.8 Brett Hundley UCLA QB
Hundley is a raw QB prospect, but he does have some upside and merits being drafted in the 4th round of your rookie draft.
4.9 Antwan Goodley Baylor WR
Goodley is slot receiver who has good speed and has decent size at 5’10″ 209 pounds.
4.10 Dezmin Lewis Central Michigan WR
Lewis is a big receiver at 6’4″ 214 pounds. Lewis is worth a flier in the latter portion of your rookie draft.
4.11 Vince Mayle Washington St. WR
Mayle is another big receiver (6’3″ 224 pounds) who could stick to an NFL roster as a red-zone threat.
4.12 Bryce Petty Baylor QB
Petty’s value is going to be indicative to who selects him in the draft. Petty is worth a late round flier to stash on the back end of your roster.
